We stayed for 2 nights in the suite, the room was very nice, clean and tidy. The price was fine for the kind of room. The people in the reception were very helpfull and they took very good care of us, giving us directions, maps and advice, plus there is always someone there. The hotel's location is also very good,... More

Very central - I stayed for a weekend when I was over visiting friends and wanted to be nice and central and was only going to be using the hotel to sleep. I had a tiny room over reception - the street can be quite noisy as it's a pedestrian street and people walk past talking. Otherwise no concerns.

PROS: Hotel du Cygne is the 4th hotel I have stayed at in Paris, and it is by far the cleanest. This is very, very important to me! It is also secure, with someone on the desk 24/7 to buzz open the door. I like the personality of the place, with the exposed beams and décor in the rooms and... More

Location was perfect, really in the middle of all sights and action. Small but very clean room with good bed. We stayed for 5 nights and room was cleaned daily but would have wished they would have changed the sheets and towels at least once during our stay - that was the only minus. Breakfast was very small for big... More

good location. staff wasn't overly friendly and wouldn't let us check in early (which is fine since we were early, but always a bonus when a place will let you - especially since we had been travelling for several hours prior to arriving and hadn't been able to shower, however they did let us use a bathroom to clean up... Great location, very close to centre of Paris - lots within walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful and by the standards of budget hotels in central Paris the room was spacious and well furnished. Room and en suite both very clean. Hotel was on a pedestrianised road, so no traffic noise, was also impressed that the TV was sound limited,... More

I stayed here with friends in May 2012. Great location – very close to Etienne Marcel Metro station, walkable to river and Notre Dame. Lots of cafes around for breakfast. Nice welcome, helpful and generally friendly staff. Rooms were small but had everything required: bed, desk, wardrobe, mini safe, suitcase stand and most importantly clean bathroom. We stayed in rooms... More

The room is small (just like any other hotel in Paris) but it's clean. Bathroom is small but it's functional. We moved a table in the room to make space to open our suitcase. We had a street facing room but did not find street noise annoying, I am a light sleeper. The hotel reception staffs were excellent! Very helpful... More

The location is better than wonderful and the hotel is super neat. A little cozy but considering the location and the high demand of space in Paris it was SUPER. The attention was good but as always it depended on the person.
