the hotel elevator was out of service, the corridor has a strange pungent smell and the rooms are very old.
TV is very small, no AC, the bed is not very comfortable, the free wifi signal is very low, no mini bar and the water pressure in the WC is not too strong

The hotel is in a very good location, close to the Metro and RER. It's not the center of Paris, but you can get to the center in 15mins. The Nation station has several metro lines intersecting here so you can get to most places very easily.
It's on a quiet street and there are a handful of restuarant choices...

Bel Air is a decently priced no-frills option whose chief saving grace is that it lies in a quiet, pleasant street just off the Nation metro in a safe, upmarket-looking part of Paris. In spite of the extreme winter cold our double room was piping hot - great - as was the new, large, clean bathroom, which came with proper...

The hotel was good value for money being in Paris. It is located close to the Nation Metro station which I found a good location with good lines connecting through there. The hotel is great for access to anywhere in Paris but even for the cheap price it is below par. The rooms are in need of an upgrade and the bedcloths have seen better days.
Do not even think of paying them for breakfast it and the service are terrible.
The restaurant next door is one of the best restaurants...

Hotel in a quiet side street off the Nation Place (which is one of the quietest squares in Paris although it does have its share of restaurants and bars). Hotel very close to metro, buses, Gare de Lyon, the Bastille, the Promenade Plantee (unusual elevated walkway with different perspective on Paris). Loads of very lively nightlife a walk away (just...
