We came to Collioure without a place to stay and found this place to be absolutely perfect. Prime location on the waterfront, in front of a castle and in the center of town. A great place to stay for anyone travelling to this great quiet little town. More

This is by far one of the most interesting hotels I've ever stayed at. Situated in a town not far from the Spanish border, the hotel was used as a refuge to those fleeing war in Spain. Those guests who could not afford to pay for a night at the hotel were required to paint or draw something in return.... More

Collioure is the perfect place for a couple who enjoy beauty: the scenery, food, the many artists studios and the fabulous blues of the water and sky. Les Templiers was perfect for us: great location, shabby in places but 'characterfully' so - and it has so many original artworks to admire. At the heart of everything and I just wish... More

Two of us spent one night in this hotel en route to our self-catering holiday accommodation in the region. We had pre-booked a room, which was located in the annex. On arrival, and having read negative reviews about the latter, we asked if a room in the main hotel was available. The pleasant, helpful lady at the reception desk readily... More

great location by the water in centre of town , slightly noisy and decor faded but for a couple of days in a seaside town its perfect - good breakfast included in price , wonderful original art on every wall and who would not want to stay where Picasso and Matisse have stayed ? Restaurant was ordinary and other Collioure... More

we stayed one night in the annex and the room --although clean--was only as big as the bed, the window opened out into an alley way and we were kept awake by music blaring until 2 AM. this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, the staff was also rude and unhelpful. find a different spot... Les Templiers has evolved and now serves good meals. It is a good location but a little frustrating that we have to park away from the hotel in a competitive scramble for a public spot. More

We ate two amazing meals here last year so we decided to return and stay in the hotel this summer. The service was very good and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Our room over looked the street and the chateau across the creek and it was comfortable but small. This time of year... More

Firstly, you have to love Collioure. We found this place after staying in Banyuls down the road - We moved the following day, as fell in love with the town. Collioure's little cobbled streets, lined with unique shops (not just tourist tatt), it's 3 beaches, with the church and fort entering the water to create a picturesque view.... Anyway, we... More

The position of this hotel is excellent, but it is a real little "roughie". You register by entering the public bar next to restaurant, reception is a very tiny corner of the bar. You then wheel your case through the bar to a narrow lane at the rear and walk about 100 metres to the hotel entrance. The room is... More
