Although part of a relatively large chain of hotels which we were familiar with in England, this was a very French experience - delightful rooms, one superior with a balcony, excellent staff and service, great food, fab swimming pool area, lovely gardens, great for the city. Although the position was quite close to the city and the main roads, this... More

Small hotel at the outskirts of Nimes, which turned out to be not so bad after all. We stayed one night in May in a superior room for 129 Euro. And that was extremely reasonable! The hotel is right next to busy road, but the traffic noise was bearable. The court-yard is lovely and ample parking space is available free... More

This hotel was a surprisingly nice in the not very nice surrounding of a busy road, shopping mall and industrial buildings. It has a nice inner yard/garden with a small pool. There is a restaurant inside and a wine store. Downtown area is about 20 minutes walk (not very well marked and through not so nice neighbourhood). There is free... More

The "superior" room was lovely--loved having an entrance from inside the hotel and a French door entrance from a shared patio. Beautiful decor, roomy, quiet. This, plus the pool, made all the difference when visiting Nimes in August. The service was excellent, with a warm and helpful welcome. Excellent quality for the price.

We stayed for 2 nights whilst touring the area. Pros - the hotel was clean and staff friendly. Our room was average size had french doors that opened onto a terrace with a small pool. The pool area was very relaxing and restfull in the heat of the afternoon. Cons - pool area needed cleaning up but the pool itself... More

Hotel is really nice. Our room is pretty with a queen size bed that is comfy and not lumpy or too soft. We have French doors that open out on to a little terrace on the ground floor just a few steps from the pool..the price is certainly right at 79 euros includes breakfast for two. Bathroom is modern, clean... More

I staryed 4 nights here on business. Having stayed in many hotels, it was nice to stay in a room that wasnt the standard functional square. The hotel is built around a swimming pool, which when the weather is pleasant is a great way to end a day. Didnt eat there so cant comment on restaurant. about 20 minute walk... More

We had 3 nights at the L'Orangerie. Its slightly on the outskirts of Nimes on the main road so easy to get to but still in an attractive green setting. I chose the out of town location as it had free parking and you could still walk to the arena in about 20-25min. Many hotels in the centre don't have... More

We stayed here last summer for two nights. We had diffuculty getting a reservation because of Bastille Day, and this place was one of the few still with availability. I guessed that was bad omen, and set my expectatations prettty low. The hotel is off a highway; there are no sights to see within walking distance. The hotel is surrounded... More

We stayed for 3 nights from August 2nd, and really couldn't have been more pleased with this hotel. The rooms are not large, but comfortable, and the setting and general ambience was lovely. The hotel has a wonderful chef, and we certainly had some lovely meals during our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful also.
