simple and clean with very friendly and helpful staff. It was close to the entrance of the grotto - about a 5 minute walk. I'd stay there again if I was to visit Lourdes again.

Have been back to the esplanade Eden for the last six years. Our group has been going for decades. The staff are wonderful, so welcoming and accommodating for all our needs. If Lourdes is the place to be then the esplanade is the place to stay!

Unexpectedly good quality hotel with excellent value for money, location, service, and everything. we were not expecting a high quality hotel when we booked BUT we were surprised on arriving there as the hotel which was rated 3 stars, actually deserves more than that due to its very good finishing, cleanliness, good receptionists (although only few speaks English). the rooms... Stayed for three nights, room only and for €72 a night for a triple room cannot really complain. Reasonably clean (though why anyone would carpet the interior walls of a lift, God only knows, but it gently pongs), staff friendly and about 10 minutes walk from the Sanctuary.
