This is a no-frills very value-for money hotel close to the city square (less than 5 mins walk), eateries aplenty close to where we stayed (just a few streets down there is a popular French restaurant that attracts long queue everyday - loved their matchstick fries). Service is great as well (by French standards, they were very genuinely friendly!). Will... More

The hotel is located on a main road, very easily reached from the Airport bus stop at Jean d'Arc. It's then a short walk into the centre, to reach shops, restaurants etc. Our room was indeed on the small size, the main issue being just where to put things! Aside from that it was properly clean, with comfortable beds, tv... More

Stayed for one night in this small corner hotel on a main street in Toulouse which meant it was central and handy for the town centre and everything was within easy walking distance. Loads of restaurants and bars in the nearby streets. One bar in particular is right next door and can be really noisy and busy at night. The... More

Clean and comfortable but not much else! The rooms are as big as the bed and electricity sockets hang off the wall. But it's cheap!

I spent one night in a double for single use at the Hotel Victor Hugo in May. The staff were knowledgable and very helpful. As examples, English-speaking staff were able to direct me to a nearby internet café and a store that sold an item I needed, and they made space available to me to change my clothes long after... This hotel is on a pleasant tree lined boulevard at the edge of the old town. Double glazing can prevent the sound of traffic and late night parties from entering your room. Rooms are smallish, but quite comfortable, although a fridge is something I really missed. Breakfast is a bit expensive for what is on offer.

This very reasonably priced 2 star, right in the middle of town, is in many ways better than others with 3 or 4 stars. The rooms are small and basic, but the beds very comfy, good crisp cotton sheets, very effective air con and clean, efficient little shower room. Everything well thought out. Nice staff too. Would definitely stay here... More

We stayed one night only (by choice). A small luggage is tough to fit! See attached picture to see how cramped it was. (The lobby is very nice, but do not let that fool you.) While the decor is outdated, the room was clean, very well located (Place Victor Hugo was literally 45 secs away) and well sound-proof (the room... More

Reception very informative concerning the city of Toulouse. Lovely brekfast and plenty of fresh fruit, cheese, ham and selection of all cereals. Orange juice Grape juice. Fresh bread and lovely croissants. (they were only out of the oven each morning) Nothing appeared to be a problem for any of the staff we met. Rooms exceptionally clean and cosy. It is obvious cleaniness... More
