I stayed here two nights while touring the D-Day beaches. We got a duplex room in the outbuilding. The restaurant was very nice, empty and the food was good. The hotel is quiet, slightly off the beaten path, grounds are very well kept. Some renovation was going on while we were there but it was not disruptive.

We stayed in one of the Duplex rooms (the old stables) for a weekend break and it was the perfect choice! We stayed in one of the duplex rooms which proved very kid friendly with plenty of room. The room standard was very good and the grounds are beautiful. It's a long walk with young children to the town center so be prepared to drive or get a taxi.

Beautiful grounds, wonderful food, friendly French staff. What more could you ask for? The hotel is a little bit outside "downtown" Bayeux so it would be a bit of a walk into town but doable.
