We have stayed at the Corner house for many times over the years. Yvonne, the host, is absolutely wonderful and generous. She is an amazing cook, in fact I have never tasted a better English breakfast. Her breakfast is low fat and started with a healthy and fresh fruit salad and selection of cereals. Just delicious, just perfectly cooked. Nothing... More

I, my husband and friends stayed at The Corner House for the week-end, using it as a base to explore the local area and to go walking. We were greeted by the very friendly and informative landlady, Yvonne, who showed us to our two very pretty, spacious en-suite rooms. The bed linen was fresh and crisp and the whole property... More

We stayed here with friends for a weekend break. We knew Rye fairly well, but our friends didn't know the area. The Corner House was an excellent find, and a great choice for exploring. The rooms are fresh, clean and comfortable, with good ensuites and tea and coffee-making facilities. Yvonne was very welcoming, and showed us round when we arrived.... More

Delightful place to stay. Only negative comment would be the road noise but this was not toomuch of a problem.

We searched around for a place to stay in Rye and were lucky to find this gem. It is not in the centre of town and at first we thought that this was a disadvantage. It was the best place to stay with clean, comfortable rooms with all amenities, decorated in a typical English country style. Mrs Turner was a... More

Very nice B & B and very good location to get into Rye. Smashing host who makes you feel very welcome. Fab house and gardens, willing to give you any info she can to help decide where to go and what is good to eat. Lovely local pub with good food and welcoming atmosphere just a short walk away. Need... More

Agree with other review, so won't repeat. Surprised to only find one review of 'The Corner House' , so booked with just a hint of anxiousness. As it turned out, anxiety was misplaced. Tip: If walking to a nearby (or not so nearby) inn or restuarant, take a torch! As although an 'A' road, the A268 is not festooned with... More

We stayed here in June, having earlier experience of inferior accommodation in Rye itself. This was a lovely B & B, with comfortable beds, clean and modern bathroom/shower and really well furnished. Our room looked over a lovely garden and fields beyond. The breakfast was very well cooked - far better than in expensive hotels we've been to and there... More
