This hotel is located next to the highway where the noise from the trucks is impossible. The rooms are so small you cannot open two suitcases. The reception staff is not helpful and certainly not knowledgeable for the city of Aix en Provence. The brreakfast is the only positive thing about the hotel. More

Small room. Faux wood vinyl floor. No in-room safe. Effective air conditioner in room, but after returning to room after 2.5 hours, the room smelled like excrement, literally. Escale Oceania was one of the few hotels showing vacancies for a visit to Aix during festival time. It was over-priced,bland, and the "chambre confort " cramped. I asked for a triple room with a sightseeing tour but they took us to a tiny room where we could barely move around. Staff were very indifferent, both in reception and bar areas. There is no transport to the town that you have to drive to center anyway.. More

Nice hotel in a super town. Most of the most-visited villages in this part of Provence are within 1.5 hrs from Aix. The hotel staff made the stay particularly enjoyable. They were so accommodating! Near public transportation; free parking, for those with a vehicle. Very quiet. More
