We were part of a bridal party that utilized the location for a wedding and after the festivities had settled down on that magical night, there could better place to which to retire for the day. The rooms are all large with views over a large green field and if you choose June/July you'll have the added bonus of lavender... More

From your arrival at the main gate you can expect your stay to be a rare experience. On arrival you drive into the courtyard of the Chateau where you are greeted by your host Vincent. This 18th Century country estate is a wonderful way to experience provincial French life. The service is terrific and the atmosphere is grand, yet welcoming.... More

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights in the Rosalie room. The grounds and chateau were very beautiful. Our host, Vincent, made great recommendations for small towns to visit (Venasque) and locations for lavender fields (Sault.) Our room was very spacious and had an awesome bathroom with a big rainfall shower. Breakfasts were plentiful. The special Friday night dinner... More

We checked- in on the 05 of June 2011, stayed in the hotel for 3days. We were welcomed by the friendly couple that runs the place, the reception was indeed warm. We had our tour around this stunning castle, and enjoyed a ‘Table d’hôte’ the first night. ‘There is this stunning dining area with this artistic crafted leather ceiling, brilliant... More

We have recently returned from our third trip to this maginficent chateau. Once again, Francoise and Ronald regaled us with an amazing experience. Breakfast on the terrace, drinks in the afternoon and relaxing in the chateau with all of its ammenities makes for a wonderful holiday experience. For those of us who can only dream of having a chateau in... More

We've spent a couple of nights in this very nicely refurbished chateau at the end of august 2010 and even though I'd agree with most opinions that the place itself is very pleasant and neat, I tend to think that not only it lacks something in terms of character but also that the service is really below what you'd expect... My husband and I have just returned from our first trip to Carpentras, France. Prior to doing so we canvassed our friends and all recommended we stay at Chateau du Martinet. With so many glowing recommendations, we were dubious that this accommodation could live up to what we expected. Not only did it live up to it, as far as... More
