Recently stayed here for 3 nights, pleasantly surprised that the single room I booked through Late Rooms was quite spacious, clean and there was a new tv and fridge in the room. The en suite had a shower toilet and washbasin. Plenty of cupboard space with a safe and a large table and chairs in the room also. There were...

This is perfect for people who value location, realise rooms tend to be small in France and prefer locally owned/run than corporate hotels. This isn't the Ritz and if you have high expectations from a hotel, I would recommend you look elsewhere. Its a step up from a hostel, with all the basics covered off, for a really reasonable price....

We arrived in Nice, France without a hotel booking. We decided to wing it. Walking around, we saw a door that said "hotel". The sign said it was 50euros per night. We figured it was probably a roach motel, but the price was irresistible. We agreed to ask to see a room.
We walked in and nearly turned right around....

We booked this hotel because from the photos it appeared to offer some character. However on subsequently reading the reviews we were quite anxious. We arrived at nine in the evening, the area appeared quite run down and the hotel was in complete darkness. When the door was opened we received no welcome whatsoever, just handed the key. The room...

After reading a few reviews, we were a bit hesitate having booked this hotel a few months back. Upon arrival we were well greeted and shown to our cozy room. Location was great for the price, and with a supermarket just round the corner, it's a good way to save some coin. The beach is just 2 blocks away and...

Buffa is small, only 13 rooms, the location is good but not perfect. 2* hotel and it reminded me of 2* hotels in Paris 40 years ago. It really needs an uddate. For a night or two it is ok, we were here for 2 nights because of a bargain on flight tickets. Our son stayed in another 2* hotel,...

We arrived at the Hotel de La Buffa for a 4-day stay, using it as a base to see the surrounding area (Nice, Monaco, Cannes etc.). The hotel is very basic; the furniture is very old and dated, the room had 14” TV with CNN (the only English channel). The room had a small fridge. The bed and shower area...

We stayed there for four nights in May. This wasn't my first choice but most of the other hotels within my budget were fully booked. We were overcharged, paying a good 30 euros (per night) more than the prices stated on the hotel pricing sheet in the room. While one of the staff members proved himself friendly and informative, the...
