- Oasis Hotel Nice

We had booked the hotel Berlioz in Nice last week; but due to major problems that the hotel had with air conditioning, the hotel manager contacted us and kindly explained the reason why we were going to stay in a different hotel, the Oasis.
Upon arrival the concierge could not find our reservation; then told us that the parking was...

About 10 mins walk from the main Promenade des Anglais, the hotel is set in a quiet area of Nice. It is a small hotel with limited facilities and our room was tiny but clean, comfortable and adequate for a short stay and the price we paid. Breakfast was included in the price but it was not great - just...

The best thing about this hotel is the location, the reception friendly staff, the breakfast, the breakfast area, the shower and the air conditioning. The hotel is located in a quite area, however, it is just a 10 minute walk to the beachfront and a 10 minute walk to the train and tram station. The staff at the reception desk...

This was my first visit to this hotel since it changed hands (i ave been here twice before).
It has not really changed much except you have to pay 8 euros for a continental breakfast which used to be included in the price. It is about a 10 minute walk from the promonade
and 5 minutes from the railway station.Although...

As remarked in other reviews, this hotel has just reopened (August 2010) following a "full renovation". I didn't see it pre-renovation, so can't comment on how much of an improvement it was, but my hunch is that the work mainly focused on the ensuite bathrooms, which looked very new and were of a pretty high standard.
Unfortunately, however, whatever renovation...
