Technically, this hotel is in Cap Martin, not Monaco, but it does not really make any difference. Location is the east side of Monaco, just on the border with France. Hotel is (or at least feels) quite small and boutique-y. The style is 1920's of which I am not a fan, but it was somewhat new and refreshing and did... More

We have stayed here many times over the years but this visit was the first since the Hotel had a major "facelift" and then recently became a member of the Relais Chateau Group. The makeover has actually improved the interior and the rooms making them more up to date and with the latest amenities without detracting from the quality and... More

Firstly..... This hotel is not in Monte Carlo, as wrongly advertised by Thomas Cook via Cresta Holidays.... It is in Cap Martin Room was nice, but bed was 2 single beds pushed together and created a hump in the middle that either gave me or my wife a terrible night sleep (if we fancied a cuddle ;-) ). Food was... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights - it was a special deal and included breakfast, champagne and strawberries etc. Accommodation was in a junior suite overlooking the bay with a superb view. As others have mentioned the hotel is part of the group including the Hotel Paris (very ole worlde) The Hermitage (modern old style - very swish)... More

My husband and I have stayed here twice this year (for the Rolex Masters and then the Grand Prix) and hope to go back many more times. It is a great hotel, most notably: • We love the refurbishment! The hotel has retained its elegant 1930s feel but with modern design elements that make it a very comfortable place to... More

Most people don't realize that the Hermitage, Hotel de Paris, Monte Carlo Beach and Bay Hotels are owned by the same company. The company is quite savvy and has designed each property to suit different customer tastes...or so it was explained to me. I had a standard sea view room (which, for a standard room) was fantastic- the view of... More

* Hotel did nothing that it promised - we were extremely let down by them, they do not respond to correspondence or return telephone calls, I would never book this hotel again. More

I was really disappointed with my stay this year. I stayed 10 years ago and raved about going back. I finally got there and was so let down. The place hasnt been kept up, the paint is cracking, the bed covers are so old and faded. The staff were snooty, the breakfast and room service were pitiful. Hate to see... More

If you travel to Monaco you have to stay at an SBM hotel, they literally own the place, and if a beach is what you want then the Beach-Hotel is the place to be. In summary, the Bay Hotel is your Vegas style modern hotel with landscaping and interior design all within an inch of its life. The Beach-Hotel is... More
