The hotel is right on the water. The private hotel beach actually is on the rocks (we couldnt dive). Good view though. Room extremely small and needs to be renovated. No way we had breakfast there (20 eur per person - go to the boulangeries close by on the road). We went to st tropez (beaches and at night for... More

Any hotel that is so welcoming to dogs is always going to get a good review from me. Spent 3 nights at La Belle Aurore in July with my wife and pet dog and had a great time. They allowed me to bring my little pug (dont think they would accept a st bernard!) and were so kind and accomodating... More

So here's my scoop - I agree with the other reviewers with respect to the rooms - quite small, even by European standards. There was literally no room to place our luggage and the bathroom is tiny and separated by the bedroom with a somewhat dingy curtain. It was clean, which is the most important thing to me but it... Despite what all of the other reviews have stated we both had a wonderful time at this hotel. the owner, charles, is lovely and could not be kinder - we had a bad accident with our tire and he helped us (as did the staff) immediately and empathically. true, the restaurant is quite repetitious - but one is paying for... It's right on the water, which was lovely , the other side of the room was right on a busy main road, very noisy. The restaurant is almost over the water and the has fantastic views, the food was of a very high standard , service was friendly but a little slow. Breakfast was 45€ for 2 , the chef... More

Small hotel wedged against a busy noisy road. Claustrophobic room. Paintwork a bit chipped internally and weathered outside in places. Peeling wallpaper in hallway opposite our room. Bathroom a joke - it really is small and crampt and not separate - there was only a curtain. Postage stamp sized pool and private beach. We were unlucky with bad weather and... More

This was a one night stop over for us as we wanted to do a day trip to St Tropez. The hotel was very easy to find, located right on the main street coming into St Maxim. There was lots of shaded parking which was also a nice surprise. The staff were polite and welcoming, and mostly spoke good English.... More

We stayed here for 5 days with our children (aged 6 and 4). They loved Ste Maxime and there is a sandy beach very close to the hotel towards the centre of the resort. We took the hotel apartment which is nothing special. There were some problems. The plumbing is not great and the water pressure never came to much... More
