We stayed at Villa Massalia for 6 nights over New Year. We had some minor problems with the bathroom. We asked for a technician and did not get one. “Great hotel, funny location”

Built in 2007 this hotel is modern, spacious, and very comfortable. The balcony with good furniture was a bonus. Everything was great, although do look at a map of Marseille before you book here since there is not much nearby. I needed a taxi to go anywhere - local attractions were two filling stations and a race track!

“Noisy neighbour”

Beware rooms with communicating doors! My neighbour phoned his mother in the US at 2 am and I heard every word... then his alarm woke me up (but not him) at 5.30! The staff were very nice about it and offered me another room the following evening - even an upgrade - but I've never had such a bad noise... More

“Best hotel in Marseille.”

This is by far my favorite hotel in Marseille. People working there are so nice and everything is just perfect. The room was big, and the bed was really comfortable. Super clean and with a nice view. The breakfast is totally worth it! So many options (and good ones)!!!
