The hotel is in the centre of town in an ideal location for the shops restaurants opera and just walking. The location is fantastic as is the city. The hotel is looking tired carpets worn down to the backing on the stairs rooms with paint knocked off the walls and the doors, even a hole in the ceiling with a... More

We stayed here on a month holiday around France. We seek hotels near the tourist areas but not in them. Without any booking we discovered this Mecure whilst walking. We asked for the tarrif and was quoted a high rate. On questioning we were able to get a much cheaper room and as I was over 60 years both my... More

Got this room as part of a flight-hotel deal. Convient location, but the decorations and furniture lack the quality needed for a city-centre hotel. The place was clean enough, but the bathroom had a false ceiling with metal plates/bars across it through which could be seen the gaping hole in the plaster board above it and all the light fittings.... We were greeted magnificently by a young lady early on Saturday morning after our train trip from Paris. She accommodated us in a corner room which was special in the sense of the large space we had. Very clean and well made up. She was also very helpful with many other questions we had about Lyon and our further trip... More

I have chosen this hotel because of its good location. I always try to stay at Mercure. The hotel is very similar to all other Mercure hotels (inside). Outside the builöding looks great. There a lot of places to eat in a walking distance.

I paid 180 euros without breakfast. If you see the hotel and the rooms....you would not believe I paid that. The location is the only good thing of the hotel. At the reception we were recieved by a lady very unprofessional and unkind. The room is very old, dirty carpet, old bathroom... If I had paid 70 euros, I wouldn't... More

Lucky to get rooms here on a very busy weekend. The hotel is very well located, close to everything, not much need for public transport. It is very clean and the bathrooms are modern. Rooms were a little small but the weekend was the lights festival with literally millions of visitors so rooms were at a premium and unfortunately a... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the end of November. The hotel is very well located for shopping, restaurants ... The staff is kind. The breakfast is acceptable. The rooms may need some renovation to remain in the Mercure standard. Overall, the value is good.
