Rooms were fairly basic, but clean. Right next to train station and street cars to downtown Karlsruhe. My only complaint is there was some construction going on around the hotel and was woken up early in the morning.

A nice hotel with the rooms being the standard Ibis level (and with hard beds, which seems to be an Ibis thing). The hotel itself is really well placed for the Hbf and the tram system with a stop right outside the main reception, and you can easily get into the city centre. Wifi is free in the lobby, but...

Having stayed at this hotel twice in the last year, I can say that it really is great value for money.
Located right next to (and for some rooms literally on the platform) the Hauptbahnhof (central train station), this hotel has excellent transport links to other German cities and to most of the tram lines that run throughout the city....

This was a great hotel to stay at for the price. Great modern room, clean, airy and bright, no fancy extras but very functional and just a nice comfortable place to be.

Returned for third and fourth visit.Still a good value hotel. Good food.Good staff. Good rooms.Has a little wear and tear in places but still high standard for a 2 star hotel.Had to pay for parking but once in four visits is not a bad strike rate.Will probably be back in the future.

We've stayed at 2 different Ibis hotels (Heidelberg and Sydney) before this. We thought this one was the best out of 3. We were at the top corner of the hotel so we had 3 big windows with plenty of room. It was clean and modern with lots of English channels.

I think is pretty good with a small alley but was impressed modern room. lobby is quiet and very close to train station

I think that the location eight besides the train station is excellent. The hotel itself has a "cheap industrial product" feeling about it and I think that for what it offers it is way over-priced.
