Finding a reasonably priced hotel in Mannheim is always a challenge and constraints applied by a customer meant we ended up in the Hotel Alexandros costing EUR 60 per night plus EUR 8 for breakfast. This was about EUR 20 per night less than staying in Mannheim centre, although most hotels were booked there.

I stayed at Hotel Alexandros for 16 days in January this year. My initial expectations were not high due to the low star rating but I was really suprised.
