Booked by a third party for a business trip to Stuttgart I stayed 3 nights in the 'sunrise' room and one night in the 'black box' suite. Overall the staff were helpful and courteous and the hotel amenities of a high standard. The sunrise room on the other hand didnt live up to its name, it being painted entirely black... More

We stayed in the Black Box room for 1 night last weekend. The room was large, the integrated bathroom design really good. Downsides - the bed wasn't ultra comfortable given the price of the room E270 and the TV was a bit small. We ate in the restaurant, which had a vegetarian menu which was a lovely change for me.... Stuttgart is great, and there are many worthy hotels there. That said, there is only one Zauberlehrling... It sets the barre for anyone claiming to be a "Boutique Hotel."
