This hotel is really well placed, right next to the Stadtmitte S'Bahn station so it is very easy to get around. Staff are excellent, really very helpful and pleasant and always happy to help. The rooms are quite well sized (better than some I have stayed at in Germany), but suffer from being rather warm, with no air conditioning and... More

It can be difficult to find acceptable and affordable accommodation in Stuttgart. The Schlossgarten Hotel is probably the best, but these days it's way above my budget for business travel. So in February I ended up in this hotel. Some find its 'decor' charming, but really this is just the result of decades of negligence. I was put up in... More

I Stayed Here for business, and as we were too tired to venture out, had dinner in the restaurant. The food was excellent! Traditionally served with 'two plate service' The hotel is straight from the seventies with brown beige and pink tones all around. More

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Royal. Staff was very helpful and fluent in English. Bathroom featured double-sinks and a bathtub as well as a shower. As usual in Germany, room was immaculate. Free Wifi was a plus! I did not have breakfast. It was pricey and there are MANY food options in short walking distance. Coffee Fellows on... More

We only stayed over for one night en-route to the Schwarzwald, arriving late. At first I thought the decor was garish with ugly green carpets, but eventually came to like the retro feel of the decor and furnishings. Room large by European standards, great bed and large bathroom. Typical German, everything works and is well maintained. Staff a bit aloof,... More

A 1979 time warp, perfectly preserved :-) Well maintained but a little dated... Personally, I loved it! The staff were EXCELLENT at every moment. Reasonable pricing and great location for easy access to centre of town. More

I used this hotel for a 4-day conference at Stuttgart Messe. Hotel is VERY centrally located with good neighborhood and few 100 meters to either subway (25 min/3,40EUR to airport/messe) and to the large pedestrian street in the old city centre. The basic single room is not big, but very comfortable and with usual amenities (no safe though, but this... More

This hotel is in need of a renovation - it looks tired and outdated, it's rather noisy and the carpet (even on the walls of my bedroom!) smelled of cigarettes, although my room was supposed to be non-smoking. In my bedroom I found several pieces of a broken glass from the previous guest (but the maid was very apologetic the... More

Our triple room was a good size. Very old school and dated but clean and with a huge bathroom. The location was not really close to the trains so we had to hike a bit but the hotel staff made up for it. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Out of all the hotels we stayed... More

The hotel itself is not very big, the single room I was given was also very small. The toilet has a bath tub, but there is o curtain. I noticed that there was a drainage on the bathroom floor which I guess means any water that might drop onto the floor will just go though that. However, this does not... More
