Great hotel 5 minute walk from the Englischer garten about 15 or 20 from Marienplatz. Convenient from the airport as well. We had a room on the 5th floor with a balcony and it was great. Had a sitting area and a fridge. Very clean and nice! Will definately stay there again if/when we go back to Munich! More

We stayed in a standard double room in this hotel in August 2011. When travelling we rate a good location higher than comfort and ambiance. With this is mind the hotel met our needs and expections very well. As already said in other reviews the location is great. Very easy to get to by public transport from Munich airport since... More

Stayed 3 nights to enjoy the Christmas markets and a day trip to Salzburg as a treat for hubby's birthday. Chose this hotel on price and location as we really only wanted somewhere comfortable to sleep and it was good value. The hotel is close to the metro station where there are a few cafes and shops. Only a 15... More

Nice hotel, near Engilsh Garden, in city center. Nice if you have no car, near tram and metro station. The room is nice, with good bed. The bathroom is clean and have a bathtub (nice when you came back from a long walk). I arrived earlier so they locked my backpack in a room. Staff is very nice. More

We stayed in a double standard room for one night, and found the hotel to be okay. The reception is fresh and modern, however the upstairs rooms seem a bit dated, and the doors use keys rather than keycards. The reception staff were fantastic, very helpful and spoke excellent English. We were able to check in and move into our... More

We stayed there for one day, and arrived at around 10 pm, and we were lucky to arrive by that time as we were unaware of the fact that the lobby actually is locked by 11 or 10:30 pm every day. If we didn't arrive by that time, we would have been in hell on a rainy day...haha... overall, the... More

Ok let’s start with the positives, this hotel is reasonably close to the metro system, the room was very clean, bed comfortable and the linen/towels were replaced every day. The room itself was quite small like the TV and the selection of English channels, hope you like CNN! I expected this hotel to be quieter due to its location but... More

Big room. Close to the city, trains, shops. Not good with room cleaning or replenishing tea or coffee. Not very good with directions, however the receptionists always had a pleasant manner. Over all, if you just need a place to sleep, this is it. More

With the exception of the ridiculous and unreasonable internet rates (17 Euros per day) we enjoyed our recent stay at this hotel. If your luggage is not too heavy and you have robust rolling luggage that can stand being rolled ~400 meters over cobblestones, this hotel is a good choice for travelers arriving by train in Munich. The hotel was booked 2 days before our arrival during the end festivities of Oktoberfest, so the value was amazing. It was far from the Oktoberfest grounds, but it is close to the English Garden (recommend to visit). It was also close to the train station (U-bahn- Lehel), but make sure you either have a map or call the hotel... More
