For €200 per night this was a very disappointing hotel. Apart from large rooms and proximity to the main railway station it has nothing else to commend it. The rooms are old and shabby and are in serious need of refurbishment, as is the whole place. The shower in our bathroom was broken and sprayed water everywhere except into the bath... More

If this is a four-star hotel, that rating means very little. The hotel is convenient to the train station, and the prices aren't bad. But it is shabby and not particularly clean. Many of the common areas reek of cigarette smoke. Some of the people at the desk are reasonably helpful; others don't seem inclined to lift a finger if... More

This hotel has a large lobby with a fluent English speaking staff. The room was spacious with good space for our suitcases. The bed was hard but we slept well. The bathroom was very large with a nice tub and shower head. There was lots of space for our toiletries. They were a bit skimpy on the towels. Our breakfast... More

Would definitely recommend the Hotel Regent. Great prices, and great value. Rooms are very large, roomy, and modern. Location is great next to train station (although the noise if you leave your window open is a little loud) but otherwise, great find! More

The staff makes the difference; all the people were very friendly and eager to help you. Breakfast was very basic; I could say that was a 3 star hotel breakfast. The lobby is outdated and needs refurbishing; rooms are o.k. without any feeling. Rooms are clean. More

I've stayed at several hotels close to Munich HBF but this has been the best so far. Friendly and helpful staff who are super efficient. Our room was large, bright and exceptionally clean. Breakfast choices were superb! I'd book this hotel in future without any doubts whatsoever. More

Ok hotel for a couple of days stay. Not the best choice for a romantic weekend. The rooms were clean and tidy but a bit worn in some places, as well as whole the hotel. The location is great right next to the main railway station and a short walk from the city center. I think people would be very... More

We booked this hotel just because it was within walking distance from the location of the event we were attending, otherwise we would have stayed somewhere else. This hotel is across the street from the main train station, which is very convenient, but there's really not much else around it. The hotel is very basic and kind of outdated. The... More

We arrived late night in Muenchen and this was the firts hotel we saw, so we (large group of 7) decided to spend a night there - what a mistake. I and my husband paid 80 eur for one double (without breakfast) and 17 eur for parking! We asked for a nonsmoking room and the receptionist replied that they do... More
