Always love the Schlicker. It is convenient to the Ubahn and Marienplatz. The staff is friendly and helpful and of course the breakfast buffet is well appointed and tasty. Many attractions are within easy walking distance. There are also numerous restaurants convenient to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Munich.

First of all, the location is perfect. If you are flying into Munich then the hotel is easily reached via the S-Bahn to Marienplatz and then only a 2 minute walk round the corner. We stayed here for one night during beer festival. It is very central 2 mins from S and U Bahn and main square. The rooms were fine and had good shower etc. Reception were very helpful. We didn't have breakfast as we had early train to airport which is approx. 1 hour away on UBhan. Overall met expectations.
