The last time we stayed at this place was January 2013. We booked two rooms with four beds in each. The location is really good so as the personnel and rooms. But still there is a place for disappointment. The cups in which tea was served were supposed to be clean but unfortunately not and to say more they stunk!... More

If you are not intrested in anything you just take care about location that hostel is great. It is situated near U-bahn station really close to Potsdaer Platz and Unter den Linden. But the Shared bathromms are terrible but the brekfast was really good and included in price of bed

Certainly city hostel is a very conveniently situated place, and to get an affordable bed in Berlin is not so easy. The place is reasonably clean, breakfast is a buffet with all essential items - so far, so good. The hostel has a great location, in the heart of Berlin ,near the Brandenburg tor. We had a twin room with an ensuite bathroom. The room was clean. There are no toaletries and towels in the room. The towels are charged 1 euro per towel.The breakfast was delicious. All in all, i recommend it.

I was alone at 4bed mixed dorm, everything perfect, they charged me even less then I should have paid, so 14EUR per night and tasty breakfast included. Location is nice,u-bahn right next to hostel, staff were friendly, i will definitely stay in this one again...:)
