Huge bathroom. Great view on the street and the opposite female gym, with windows all around the room. Very helpful staff. A bit buzzing atmosphere in the lobby, but pleasantly buzzing.
I would gladly stay here again.

We stayed at the Amano for four nights during the Christmas markets and we were pleasantly surprised how 'upmarket' it was for a budget no frills hotel. The foyer is very welcoming and looked particularly impressive with the big Christmas tree and lights. The rooms are on the small side and there are absolutely no extras such as drink making...

We booked this hotel while in Berln for a week long conference and chose it over its nearby sister hotel, the Mani, as we could book an "apartment." The location at the end of a cobblestoned street is quiet and within walking distance of some of the places of activity in the Eastern part of the city. It is a...

We spent a weekend in Berlin and with a city with so much accomodation it's tough to know where to stay. The Amano is very welcoming and comfortable. Breakfast is always an important start to the day and the buffet offered will fill you up in relaxing surroundings.
Note all reviews not the one upset guest, I can only think...

The hotel is really nice. Lovely lobby area that always seemed to be busy and a nice atmosphere. Nice bar which really kicks into life at weekends and the breakfast room is also nice.
The rooms are nice and clean. We booked an apartment after reading it as a tip on here and the extra space was good, I feel...

This hotel was recommended by my travel agent, based on reports of other Israeli visitors. The main reason, she said, is it being located in the middle of town (mitte) currently the most "in" because of the vicinity of the main museums, shopping centers, distractions a.s.o. We were not exactly suited because we are more inclined with what is called...

Many people happy here, not me. Make sure you don't get the rooms that end with x03. You're at the end of the building in a squeezed space. Very unfriendly desk people not willing to help, poor internet. Better take your business somewhere else.

We stayed at The Amano for 3 nights very recently and couldn't fault it for the price we paid. Great budget hotel - functional and modern. It's no frills in a truly modern way. The rooms aren't big but why would you need anything larger on a 3 night city break? The shower was excellent (always a deciding factor with...

Located right between Alexanderplatz and Mitte , just a step away from the famous Hoffe

Staff very friendly
Very good access to transportation , tram and metro very close by
The rooms are badly designed and ,despite chik appearances not very comfortable ,and ,frankly, small
Overall very not bad if...

Stayed at Hotel Amano recently and could not find fault with it. The staff are all very helpful and efficient, the room was clean, comfortable and modern and the breakfast was good with a large choice which would cater for anyone. The hotel is situated not far from the centre (about a 15 to 20 min walk) and if returning...
