We spent 11 days at the AdinaHotel Checkpoint Charlie and would highly recommend it for it's quality accommodations, service and location. Grocery shopping is a block away at LIDL's for inexpensive things and 4 blocks away at Kaiser's for better quality items. The U Baihn is closeby on the Friedrichsstrasse which has a huge selection of shopping options and restaurants....

This hotel is a very good compromise. We asked for a studio room but the only studio left was with a disabled bathroom. So we went for a one-room apartment (+30€/night).Very confortable. Excellent bedding and very spacious bathroom. Our room was situated on the street. There was a little bit of noise. Ask for a room on the courtyard.

Went for the Adina apartments based on reviews and was not disappointed. Our stay was for 3 nights and we had 2 one-bed aprtmets. Perfectly located to walk or catch U-bahn to Musuem Insel, Unter den Linden, Potsdamer Platz. Accomodation hig quality and clean and staff very good. No hesitaion in recommending.

Excellent hotel at a quiet & fairly convenient location (5-7min walk to U-bahn, 2 min to bus).
Room was extremely comfortable and have everything you may want for a short stay (we stayed for 2 nights). Service was prompt and highly professional.
My 4 year old son did not want to return home!!
Just one thing that they should try...

Good hotel. The rooms have everything one could want. Spotless clean and very comfy. Location is good. Walking distance to main sites & close to a supermarket which is v convenient for provisions. Also, very reasonable rate via eBookers. One complaint however is in relation to the wifi. It's €3.50 for 3 hours and I think €7.50 for 24 hours....

The hotel is far away from the hot spots of the city(Kreuzberg and Perzleuber) and I think more appropriate for older ages, couples and families.
A great minus is that there is not a free WiFi anywhere at the hotel, not even at the lobby and you have to pay to use the internet a respectable amount of money. There...

Dear NATALIA K,
many thanks for writing your comments on Tripadvisor.
It is a pity to hear that you felt that the location was far away from the 'Hot Spots'. Indeed we are not in the centre of Kreuzberg, nor are we in the centre of Prenzlauer Berg, We are however halfway between both of these 2 very fashionable precincts....

We were incredibly happy with our stay here. We were 3 friends, in our 30's, traveling together. The apartment like set up was a great way to have enough space for 3 of us. The bedroom was a decent size, with a queen size bed for 2 of us. From the website, we were unsure how they would accommodate the...

We visited the Adina hotel for the 2nd time in April 2012. The last visit being April 2009. It was just as good as we remember. The hotel rooms include a bedroom, lounge, dining area and kitchen and are light and spacious. The staff are friendly and efficient and the hotel is centrally located in the old East Germany close...

This is an amazing concept for a hotel: A four star hotel that also has self catering facilities in your room. As we were on holiday in Berlin we ate out quite a lot but not having to search for somewhere to have breakfast every day was a god send. And the hotel itself is lovely, with friendly and efficient...
