Picked this hotel on trip adviser reviews and it's restaurant. Wasn't disappointed. Hotel is in a forest setting just on the outskirts of Potsdam. I paid under 100 euros a night over new year for a standard room - and the hotel website does not do the charm or luxury of the rooms justice. This a lovely place in beautiful surrounding yet only minutes away from Potsdam. Service is excellent, the breakfast sumptuous and the rooms delightful. All in the German tradition of excellence. However, the 1* restaurant did not meet with our expectations. Nevertheless we enjoyed the stay there so much that we extended it for a full week.

This hotel which belongs to the Relais & Chateaux association offer quiet a lot to its customers, 2 restaurants of which a gourmet, a nice swiming pool with a spa.
