I've stayed at many of Aachen's business hotels and tried the Hotel Brulls for a change of pace. The hotel is located just off the market square and is easy walking distance to many restaurants and pubs, including the Dom Keller two doors to the right and College Station a few doors to the left. Stayd here for business at the beginning of December. Absolutely charming old-fashioned hotel, which had everything I needed (except the kettle). A wonderful hotel that is full of old-world charm. The breakfast is the best we had in Europe and extremely memorable. Frau Brulls is extremely charming and makes you feel like family. Located at the heart of Aachen, it is the only place we would choose to stay when we return. More

I booked this fab find through Aachen Tourist Information Centre. Couldn't get any closer to the Cathedral and the hotel was a step back in time experience. I loved everything about this hotel. You must try it. More

The Brulls was an accommodation highlight on our 9 day visit to Northeastern Germany. We were delighted by our chance discovery of this owner-operated gem.
