This place is very average.......and that is being generous. i was up on the 6th floor and it looked like I had gone into the 60's the decor was terrible, the beds were terrible the only nice thing was the free WIFI and the view I had was the top of the cathedral.....the bathroom was just terrible!!

It was a cosy hotel very near the center, the room was clean, there was a refrigirator and a TV and a wonderful shower, just the way I like the splash. The owners seem to be Chinese. The credit card was swiped immediately on arrival ( instead of Check out). The breakfast was modest. The rooms were clean. The biggest advantage was..............its 15 min walk to Koln Messe- the exhibition Centre.

Do not stay there!!! The Asian Owner does not speak neither German nor English, street dogs roam freely inside the hotel, rooms are awful and smelly, service is non-existent.

I stayed in this hotel 2 nights and should say that even service was zero, still it's a good place to stay in Cologne for 40EUR per night. But I won't pay more for such place!!! No credit card facility, booking incorrect, Even with reasonable German trouble sorting out the booking. 2 rooms not booked!! Answer a more expensive hotel. Fortunately it was only 2 nights so we doubled up in twin rooms for the first night. Rooms very basic ,car park small but ok. Good location for the conference and town 10mins and 15 mins... More
