...indeed: the place is very British...(excluding the chef) means: a little bit rotten, a little bit untidy - similar to Claridge's Mayfair ...but on the other hand: the food is outstanding!

This is an extraordinary hotel located in a residential part of Düsseldorf close to the Rhine (its still only 5 minutes from the city centre and a great walk along the river). It only has twenty or so rooms, but each one is individually designed and decorated Laura Ashley style, with antiques and paintings.
