If you want to go to Dusseldorf but dont want the hustle and bustle of the city then you have to stay here. Its 5/10 minute walk from the U79 tram/metro which runs on a very regular basis.

I agreed to pay Euros 269 per night as the property was listed as a 4 star property, the photos were very nice and the premium due to huge international trade show (MEDICA) was on. The regular price of this place is around Euros 100, which too is a bit stiff.

Stayed 3 nighr in early June for business appointments in Dusseldorf. Set in a quiet residential area - Kaiserwerth.
Friendly and attentive staff (English speaking) - very helpful, excellent buffet breakfast.
Just around the corner from the train/tram into city centre.
Nearby selection of reasonably priced restaurants, and near the airport (6 mins drive).
Rhine river also a few minutes...
