Comfortable, clean, good location (for me anyway--close to the Gewandhaus) and did the job properly. I think the restaurant might be trying a bit too hard, but no serious issues there. Breakfast on the other hand was excellent. I am a big fan of Bircher muesli, and theirs is very good indeed.

We booked a double room at a reasonable price on the Net. There is a good space right outside the hotel for checking in and unloading luggage, and the hotel itself is easy to find. Quite good location, only couple of minutes walk from the city center. Tram station nearby. Quiet rooms but noisy reception. Varied but not very cheap breakfast buffet (you may get a less expensive one at several places in the city center) But overall good experience.

Good hotel, easy walk to the city centre. Good, clean, quiet, fair-sized room with a good bed, and a superb buffet breakfast. The sauna/spa was fabulous.
