Not the easiest place to find (even with satnav) and would be a bit remote from the centre for a longer stay - but ideal for an overnight stop. Cheap, clean. Breakfast a bit disappointing - even allowing for the low price.

I am very opinionated, and I have several nice things to say about this hotel, mostly all positive. The negatives first...It is out of the way...up a steep hill and at the end of a long dark street. However, I felt completely safe here. There is no restaurant on the premises. There are no phones in the rooms, and there...

At €30 a night (off-season) for a spacious double room via booking.com, you really can't go wrong at Hotel Zen! Aircon/heating in rooms. Sattelite TV. Good water pressure and spacious bathroom/shower. Immaculately clean. Swimming pool/loungers. Cafe/bar next to reception. Friendly staff. Vending machines (that work!) for water/snacks/cigarettes. What's more it's only 5 KM from Malaga airport, with an excellent and...

Stayed at Zen for the first night since it is close to the airport. Was impressed with the cleanliness and size of the rooms. I had read reviews about the rooms being small before booking. But it was not the case. Decided to stay another night. We also spent the last night of our trip at Zen. The pool was...

Me and a friend of mine went on a last minute holiday, to have a quiet holiday! No druken antics. The hotel is great, i would say its more than a two Star hotel. The only thing that is wrong with the hotel is that it could do with a fridge in the room, other than that, we loved it....

My husband and myself stayed at the Zen for 10 nights. Although it is up a steep hill we could not fault the staff or cleaniness of the hotel. My only problem was there was no safe in the room although i worried for nothing. Very relaxing holiday great for the money.

Hotel is good if you need somewhere near the airport, however, you need to get clear instructions to find it. It is located up a side street alongside the large Hotel Pinar. At the top of the hill you turn right. There is parking on the street outside. It is quiet and clean with a nice pool. Good for a...

Myself and my friend decided last minute to fly to malaga for two nights to enjoy the sun by a pool. As it was high season and everywhere seemed to be sold out or too expensive we settled on hotel zen as it was cheap and had a pool. From reading the reviews I wasn't expecting much but all we...

My husband booked this for my birthday as a cheap weekend away in the middle of spending a lot of money and time renovating our new house. I've got to say I was horrified when I read some of the reviews and really didn't want to take the trip...................I would have missed out on what was a very relaxing and...

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. I have travelled extensively throughout the world on a budget and this place is so disappointing. The lobby reeks of smoke, and the rooms of strong cleaner that smells like an old man's aftershave but in the most horrible way. I opened the window to air out the room, but more...
