The atmosphere in the hostel is magnificant! We met some realy nice people while having diner or when having a drink at the bar. Don't miss the happy hours! We stayed in a 4 bed dorm room that was quite small and I needed some climbing skills to get in to my bed but I had a good night sleep.... More

I had a great time with the friendly staff, the free walking tour, and hanging out on the bean bags and playing the guitar in the treehouse. I stayed in the 6 dorm female and also saw that the double was very luxurious. I would recommend to any other traveler. I only stayed one night but there was also free... More

Everything was great! It is clean, has all the amenities you need (wifi, free breakfast, activities etc). The staff are so friendly and relaxed (thanks guys! you were awesome) and as someone travelling alone it was really sociable. My room was quiet and the beds nice and solid (not squeaky like other places). Add into this hammocks, a tree house,... More

I stayed in the lovely Makuto Guesthouse in Granada last week and I have to say it was the best hostel experience in Spain to date definitely. The place, the staff and the atmosphere were all just amazing. My favourite this was chilling out in the 'chill-out' at night just soaking it all in. Was truly magical. I have never... More

We have found this guesthouse by accident and from the first moments we know we were in the right place. The atmosphere is very relaxing and spontaneous. The people there were amazing, they gave us a feel good feeling from the beginning till the end. Waking up there in the sun and relaxing and chatting and playing music in the... More

The layout was awesome, and we were provided with all the amenities we needed. They staff took the time to make reservations for us about where to see... More

The ambiance, the staff, the pittoresque area of the Albayzin. If you are looking for something REAL, not too big, so as to not feel like a number, or that you are bothering the staff with your questions. Than this is the place to be. LOVED IT!

Last week I was coming back to Granada for the second time, and needed a place to stay for one night. After my first time in Makuto in september 2012, I didn't even consider looking for other places, and wrote to them on facebook (which I think is a nice way of communicating, rather than sending e-mails). In 10 mins... More

This hostel takes you back to either the 70s or Key West, Florida. The staff was great and very willing to know their guests. Each day their is a walking tour that takes you through the albayzine to the highest point in Granada to watch the sunset. It's a short walk to the the major streets and walkable to/from the... More
