Spacious rooms. 3 people fit comfortably in any of them, but I think you can even ask for an extra-bed. Suites are even larger --logically--, but all of them face the street and acoustic insulation is not very good (or at least not as good as they should be). For that reason, I prefer interior rooms which are smaller but... More

The hotel is well located close to the downtown of Zaragoza. The facilites are ok although the interior design is clasic. I had the opportunity to sleep in two rooms. One of the was really small, although it was very quite with the window view to an interior patio. The other was bigger more like the standard rooms, it was... More

If you look at the hotel from the outside and even in the lobby, it isn't nothing special, but once you walk in the corridors or see the room your expectations are overcome. I stayed for 3 nights in one of the suites and liked very much the comfort and warm feeling. The room was huge, had 1 desk, 3... More

The hotel is good, with a classic decoration and a little old fashioned. The air conditioning for example is old, the rooms still have cassette tapes deck... But the architecture is interesting, very classic. Staff is not the best, but it´s ok. Some things really are missing, I was there in the 1st january and the restaurant of the hotel... More

Disappointing. Dated decor, indiferent service, no in-room coffee/tea facilities, no in-room wi-fi, expensive breakfast. The majority of the staff appear to have no second language and this also applies to the reception staff which is most unusual. On the plus side, it has a good, central location. Maybe with the economic downturn, savings are being made but cutting guest facilities... More

Being on a business trip, I had too little time to use and evaluate the Hotel's amenities. But it fully met my basic requirements: a comfortable bet (a bit too soft to my liking, however); a quiet room (after changing, which was no problem) and a good breakfast. In accordance with the hotel's status you can order egg dishes to... More

As with some other reviews, I would have to agree that the decor is ageing and that the 5 star status given to this hotel would seem to be from a long time ago. We enjoyed the king size bed but it was very creaky. We were given a room on the 3rd floor facing the main street. The noise... More

The Melia Zaragoza is a five star, but that rating seems a bit out of date. The hotel seems to have been last renovated in the early 80s, and there's a lot of chintz rather than the sleek minimalist style we expect from top hotels now. That said, my room was very large, and I certainly can't complain about any... More

English reception with friendly service - however if coming with a car, be prepared for a big parking bill - we parked for 4 days underground in the Hotel carpark (shared with the public) paying in excess of €75. Centrally located, close to the major attractions of the city, it is a great base for pretty much anywhere in the... More

We were surprised of the deal we got in this high-quality hotel. We were even upgraded to one of the wonderful junior suites. The feeling was amazing. Very centric location in a beautiful city. I highly recommend walking along the river paths and discovering the small museums and art galleries. In our last day we decided to visit the Palacio... More
