Extremely rude reception staff, breakfast awful, rooms small and dark, noisy. Not 3 stars more like a very bad hostel.

The hotel is situated in a good location, close to beach and shopping center.
The staff is friendly. Clean rooms. But only that.
Rooms very small, unpleasant odor (certain substances used against beetles).
A bad sound insulation of rooms.
Breakfast skinny. In 10 days the same food, even failure.
Poor Internet connection.
It was hard to endure 10 days.

Went to Gijon for a friend's wedding in the off season. I can see how the place would be popular in the summer season, but not much going on otherwise. The hotel is in a prime location though - right next to the beach and downtown. We booked through a website called hotel club - for convenience as my friend...
