Great location, clean and tidy. No tv in room (take a DVD player) and no air con until jun 1, so it was quite warm at night. It was also quite a small room. Our room was by the lift and you could hear the workings at night. I would stay again though. More

The location was simply impeccable for a short stay in Barcelona - Liceu station just 100m away (as is the touristy La Ramblas), close enough to walk to/from the Aerobus bus stop at Placa Catalunya with my baggage, Carrefour supermarket is close by, and even closer is the fabulous La Boqueria market. Stayed here for 3 nights in August 2011 (Myself, my wife, daughter 14 and son 10). Booked 4 weeks in advance by visa card.Shower and toilet en suite. No breakfast. Booked for a short stay while participting in the Bareclona Marathon. Arriving late (10pm) was not an issue and the room although small (the cat has a bashed head) was clean and comfortable. Just back from a trip to Spain that included two nights at Hostal Operaramblas. Great location just off the Ramblas at the Liceu metro station. Good deal considering prices in Barcelona.
