Good location near both tourist attractions and the center of city. The room standard was good in realation to price. Breakfast was good and the staff was nice. If you dont plan to stay more in the hotel except for sleep and breakfast you get a good value for money spent here. More

We booked two nights at the Queen's Hotel in the middle of April as we had it recommended to us. The hotel itself is a little tatty, needing a refurb. but is clean and tidy. We booked a superior double room which overlooked the harbour and, with a bit of neck-craning, the bottom part of the Rock. It comprised a... More

There didn't seem to be a lot of options for lodging in Gibraltar. We stayed at Queen's because of the price. They have free parking right in front of the hotel, and it's super close (less than a 5 minute walk) to the cable car. The rooms are pretty bad, but the breakfast was nice. We stayed here one night. Stayed one night in Gibraltar on the way from holidaying in Spain to catch a ferry from Tarifa to Tanger. Had a hire car but unable to take over the border without incurring extra car hire insurance (60 euros). Recommended that I leave the car on the Spanish border at LaLinea. Got scammed there by man approaching traffic queue saying... More

The Queens Hotel is a "Perfect base to explore Gibraltar rock and the town". Situated at the very end of Main Street, it is very quick and easy to reach the town for "duty free" shopping e.g (1lt Smirnoff vodka £6.60, 20 cigs £2.11) wow! and centrally located to see all the sights the rock has to offer, and there... We stayed recently overnight at this Hotel (Dec 11), I paid £95-00 for a suite, The room was ok , large with 2 balconies, one overlooking the Mediteranean, the other had good views of the Rock. The problem was the windows and doors were old and made of metal , they were difficult to open and were draughty too. The soft... More

If you are planning a trip to Gibraltar, my advice is, stay away from Queens Hotel. It has not been updated for about 40 years at a guess. Depressing, old, tatty, tired, dated, grubby, archaic......We stayed there for one night, enough. Other guests incessantly smoking in the day room/communal area, just off the bar area. The smell of smoke wafted... More

Check-in and out at the Queen's Hotel was very quick and pleasant. We stayed for 4 nights (2nd floor with seaview and view of the cable car) and were very happy that we had choosen to stay in this location, that is so convenient to walk to all the main tourist sites. The main street is only a 5 minute... More

Well well well, this hotel, like all of Gibraltar, is very, very british. The whole place is quite run down (plaster falling from the walls outside, fassade not clean, smoking allowed almost everywhere) but nevertheless is absolutely acceptable. The receptionsit was kind, making check-in quick and easy and we were provided a sea-side room although the booking agency advised us... More

I confirmed a booking 10AM and request explicitly fares without any notice. I could not travel to Gibraltar due to custom problem and the Hotel charged me with the room. I notice the problem but they only want to charge for it. They must have solvency problems. The recepcionist I spoke said the charge woldn't be done, but 5 minutes... More
