Very nice hotel, great beds, big rooms. Free breakfast was fantastic, totally amazing selection and v good quality. Only downside was staff service, front desk weren't really very interested and the lifts were awful! More

On the outside, this hotel looks like it needs an upgrade. That holds true for the inside too and there are several challenges: 1) hotel is designed with very narrow hallways, which make you feel a bit claustrophobic and makes you feel like you need to leave the hotel to get some space, 2) rooms can make you feel the... We stayed for 4 nights in May 2012. For a tourist, the location is very good. 5 mins walk to Plaza de Espana and right next to metro station Ventura Rodriguez. The room was on the 4th floor. It was big enough, with a little traffic noise, but that is inevitable. Overall the room was very good. It had no... More

I booked the Level Premium King and ended up with mixed feelings about this. Check in was smooth and polite. The room itself was exceptionally large with more than enough space to relax and spread out, having a lounge area, double basin, separate shower and jacuzzi. The room was also on the uppermost level with a gorgeous view of the... More

Stayed here last week just overnight for business, had a very good experience with no complaints. On the recommendation of colleagues, I had asked for a refurbished room and was not disappointed, it was large and very well equipped with both toiletries and personal incidentals such as toothbrush kit and shaving kit and also CD player etc. Bed was super... I dont know how these people can leave bad feed back for a hotel that has very high standards. I was over the moon when we arrived at this hotel. It is well decorated, luxurious and clean. What more do you want from a well priced 5 star hotel??!! Other 5 star hotels we looked at had old fashioned decor... More

I didn't book the most expensive room in this hotel but was still expecting a 5 star hotel would have some kind of a standard. I was sooo wrong. The rooms are small, the decoration sleezy, trying to be modern but cheaply done with plywood. The corridors are in horrible worn-out red carpet which reminds me of karaoke joints. Sound... More

My wife and I spent 3 days there last weekend. Location is great - a couple of blocks away from Plaza Espana. We stayed in a room on The Level, which is the club floor. The room was very funky. You can change the lighting colour. The furniture and decor was fun. The wardrobe opens on one side into the... More

We were 10 ladies, sharing 5 twin rooms and we opted for The Level service. This is an upgrade so that you get a free (and it is genuinely free) bar/coffee and canapes all day, from 11am to 11pm. For us, it was great to be able to have drinks before going out for the evening or to stop off... More
