We stayed here only one night, just for a short time. 108 Euro for a triple room on Saturday. ( we wanted double but no double then) We chose this hotel since we arrive at Madrid late in the evening and leave early in the next morning by train. This hotel is very close to Atocha station and also to prestigious... I stayed here as it was our accommodation for a tour that I went to for Spain. This hotel was great! The room was lovely and clean, nice and simple though it could have been a bit bigger. The bathroom was spacious however we had some issues with using the shower (the way the shower head was mounted caused water... More

In the heart of Madrid near Atocha railway station this hotel is an excellent choice to establish your headquarter to visit Madrid and other cities around Madrid (like Toledo) Metro station is just outside the hotel door, Atocha is 100 m away, all the major Madrid attractions are in a circle of 30 min walking. Reina Sofia museum is 30m... More

Great location across rom Atoche train station and the three major art museums in Madrid. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Easy access from airport via express bus to Atoche (2 Euro). Rooms are small. It's Europe. Very Clean. Staff not so helpful. More

For what we paid, 100EUR for two nights over weekend, I think this hotel provides excellent value for money. If you are expecting greatness, pay more. The hotel is right on the Atocha square, great access to the main train station and express buses that go to the Airport. The room was small but had a nice view from the... More

I stayed at the Mediodia hotel for three days with my friend. I think it is very convenient for budget travelers who also like a touch of style in there stay. The rooms are of an average size, the bathrooms are clean and the service is very good. The hotel's surrounding area is not very interesting but it is near... More

This hotel was only a few blocks from the bus station and did have a small balcony overlooking the plaza which was nice. I found the room to be only adequate which may have been ok had the service not been so poor. I found the staff at the front desk to be somewhere between "I don't care" and "downright... More

October 2011: Just returned from holiday in Madrid. We stayed at this great two-star hotel just across the street from the Atocha train station. Perfect location, friendly staff, good price, clean and nice rooms. Definitely would stay there again. More

This hotel is your average 2-star accommodation with a 5-star service. People at front desk were very friendly and helpful. Room was a decent size with a tiny balcony overlooking the plaza and sparkling clean! The metro station is 50meters from the front entrance and the main train station is right across the street, so it's very convenient if you're... More

This was the first of seven hotels we stayed at during our three weeks in Spain, and our least favorite. Not terrible—just average, not special. The room was clean and adequately sized with modest furnishings, and the bathroom was fairly large with a tub/shower combo that sprayed quite a bit of water on the floor (after first using it, we...
