- Confortel Alcala Norte Hotel Madrid

Rooms were clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious, with nice bathrooms.
To counter what someone else said, the room I stayed in did have a hairdryer, so perhaps that issue was solved?
The TVs are very very small and have very very few channels.
Wifi was supposed to work, but trust me, it never did.
The neighborhood seemed safe, definitely not...

I stayed for two nights at Confortel Alcalá Norte, on a business trip to a client nearby. The room was spacious and very comfortable, the bathroom also very good. Buffet breakfast was OK, there wasn't any yogurt and fruit was also not in the largest of supplies, average I'd say. Something strange is that being a 4-star the only amenities...

This hotel does not have irons or hairdryers in the room, nor do they have an ironing room. The only thing they offer is a chargeable laundry service.
The rooms are OK but the facilities are sparse.

Located rather close to the airport (15 euros worth a taxi ride), yet another 20 minutes by taxi from the city centre, this hotel (rated ****) is clearly a choice if your business is close to it. Service is minimal, but efficient. Minimal staff as well (one at the reception desk plus a security guard, the others are never seen)....

We chose this hotel because it offered a free shuttle on expedia and breakfast. We got here to find neither one of those to be true! We spent 25euro on a taxi from the airport! The hotel is 3 stars tops. it's clean but very bare bones. The first room we were in sounded like there were drums beating when...

Room was spacious and very comfortable. Free internet usage was a bonus. Food was excellent value for money. Not far from the Metro, there are a couple of useful shops nearby and a couple of restaurants which was really handy. Could do with adding a couple more English channels to the satellite selection e.g. movie and entertainment.
A very relaxing...

This can probably be called an "airport hotel" given the proximity to Madrid's Barajas international airport---which is what I chose it for laying over a night before a long flight home to California. The property seems pretty new, 4-*** and well maintained. It also appears to market small conference meetings also.
As the final test of any hotel--it gave an...

There are always surprises. I got this as a result of Priceline and I was freaked out when I looked at its location and more freaked when I tried to find one cold December evening. The walk from the Suanzes Metro stop was dicey to say the least in that it was a brisk fifteen minute walk to the metro...

I've been travelling a lot to the "Poligono Julian Camarillo" Area because of business lately and tested several hotel in the area. This one is OK, but there are better options. Rooms are small, minibar was empty and Aircon noisy.
