5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 May 2013 NEW

My wife and I spent three nights here at the start of a multi-hotel visit to Spain, and thoroughly enjoyed our room. We stayed in the suite duplex, a two-story offering with ample sitting space, bath, and two terraces downstairs, and a marvelous bedroom upstairs in a tower that has windows with beautiful views on all sides -- extremely romantic.... We booked Hotel de las Letras on a recommendation but was very disappointed. My fiancé had booked the hotel for my birthday & emailed twice before our arrival to ask for a nice room as it was my birthday on our arrival date 4th May 2013. When we checked in that evening he asked if they had received the email... More

Stayed here May 10-13. Location was fantastic, very central and bustling. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, tapas bars and museums. The rooms were small but charming and had everything you needed. Clean, safe and great staff.

When six men travel to Madrid to celebrate someone's birthday it is predictable that at least one of them will find flaws in the hotel or will at least have undelivered expectations. However, Hotel de las Letras not only met the demands of my pesky friends but exceeded them by 100%. I hadn't been so satisfied with a hotel in... More

We stayed four nights in a Superior room at Hotel de las Letras on Gran Via. Excellent location, walking distance to Old Madrid and Bourbon Madrid. Very comfortable room, we were at rear so did not have Gran Via noise. A few late night revellers going by were really the only distraction as Puerta de Sol is not far away.... More

The design of the hotel is really cool and our room was immaculate. Our room had a balcony over the Gran Via (one of the main roads in Madrid) - so for a first trip to Madrid, were were thrilled to be in such a great location. Other reviews have mentioned the noise - but with the balcony doors closed,... More

I had a great room. I stayed one night - £117. It was spread over 2 floors and had 180 degree views of Gran Via. It is very near the metro and the Chueca district which suited me. Easy to get to from both the airport and Atocha station. I didn't use the bar or eat in the hotel but... More

The Hotel de las Letras is a well located, comfortable hotel on the Gran Via in Madrid. Our room was an upgrade and quite unusual. It was room 610. We entered on the bathroom, closet level and then walked up a flight of stairs to a large bed room with king size bed and surrounded on three sides with windows.... More

My boyfriend and i have just come back from a 3 night stay in Hotel de Las Letras. The location of the hotel is brilliant - right on the Gran Via. We were able to get the bus in from the airport and walk the short distance to the hotel. When booking, we requested a quiet room. Our room overlooked... More

Located in central Madrid. Didn't agree with my expectations for a 4 star hotel in Spain. Missed a lounge area. The rooms to the gran via street, are very noisy. It has a very good restaurant. There're best choices for the same price.
