The concept is very good. The breakfast area is open all day. The rooms have a machine that extracts the sewer that makes a lot of noise. If you're unlucky to have a next door guy that goes to the bathroom at 4am there's a big probability that you will wake up with the noisr.

With a good location Chic & Basic Colors is Chic and really Basic. Small rooms but with everything you need, very clean and, at least the interiors rooms with a perfect silence. The breakfast - you have to do it - is very reach.

Highly recommendable for for people not in need of high comfort. Helpful staff. Perfect to have the possibility to take beverages and sandwiches whenever you wanted!

I recently visited Madrid with my girlfriend. We had pre-booked with Chic and Basic and subsequently secured a favourable rate due to the early booking. Is well located in the center of Madrid, but not very well maintained and a little bit pricey for what it offers.

Lovely clean room with eco friendly bathroom. Great common area with help yourself breakfast and snacks. Use of computer and wifi. In a great location in a street full of tapas bars, near Atocha but also easy walk to Plaza Santa Ana and Plaza Mayor.
