The location was the main selling point with Pension Universal, very central and a lot to see in the area. The rooms had character and were clean enough although somewhat basic. AC would have been a bonus as we were staying in the middle of summer but that was a small issue. Otherwise a really enjoyable stay.

Quite a good hostel at the price. Very centrally located. Some traffic noise at night. Got a small darkish double room with shower in the room. Toilet shared with other rooms. Facilities very clean. Free wifi.

The rooms are interestingly old-fashioned, with big windows/balconies. Beds are reasonably comfortable, and the shared bathrooms are surprisingly clean.
