have just returned and could not fault the cleanliness of the whole hotel and the rooms. We had one twin booked and one single (4ft bed) which are both comfortable rooms. Generous sized single. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much. Great for walking both to the shops and beach. More

My husband and I stayed here with my brother and his wife last year. My husband booked this place as their website described something very nice and comfortable looking..... well wasn't that a LIE! We arrived and were completely shocked, it was NOTHING like the website at all. This place is old and dingey, the rooms are so small we... More

Well this is the place for you. Unfortunately some of the staff are also trapped in this time warp. The breakfast is limited, with a scary looking waiter. our air conditioning didnt work and the solution we were first offered was open the windows for fresh air in 39 degrees. Thankfully we were moved, but avoid it if you can More

Very good access to shopping and sites of Pescara. Easy walking distance to Pescara central station. Rooms are small, but nicely appointed and clean. Great value hotel. Not fancy, but clean and modern. Comfortable. Can't beat it for the price. More

Adequate hotel with reasonable rooms, ensuite bathrooms a little plasticy and limited views however not far from the beach and a lovely breakfast. Taxi fare to the port (for ferries to croatia) about 10-15 Euros but only took 10 minutes. Perfect for a quick pre ferry stop over but prbably not ideal for a week by the beach! More

Stayed here while touring Italy in July 2007. Was concerned by the last review but as there didn't seem to be any other hotels available in Pescara at this time we thought we'd chance it. Overall we had a pleasant stay. OK the decor is in need of an update and the place could do with an overhaul but as... More

Stayed at this hotel in April 2007. Arrived with my wide and two children for 5 nights, but immediately on entering the hotel sensed that there would be problems. The entrance foyer was like something out of the 1950s. Now this would be quite endearing were it to in good condition. It was not. Marked, faded carpets; paint peeling from... More

Hotel Ambra felt like a 3 star hotel, and we found everything top-notch from the professional staff to the modern double with balcony. The breakfast was adequate but with limited choices. I realize that this is Pescara and not Venice, but 75 euros in September seemed well spent and I would definitely recommend this hotel. More
