I found the Lorelei et Londres when my husband & I made our first trip abroad in 78. It was, off track and family run. The food was fantastic and included in your room price. They kept your bottle of local wine for you from meal to meal. The elderly owner was a true gentleman and gracious host. Later I... More

We stayed here in 2006 and while a bit tired looking inside it had incredible views over the ocean from the balconies! Just a 5-minute walk to the train station or center of town. And hosting a restaurant overlooking the sea. For the location alone, this is one of the best properties in Sorrento. Unfortunately it is now closed and... More

We stayed at the Lorelei in March 2005 for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay tremendously. For E95,00/night (that's the total cost -- not per person), we got a huge room with a private bathroom, a balcony, a phenomenal view of the port and of the sea, and a decent breakfast of coffee, juice, and bread & jam in the... Yes the hotel is old and yes it needs a bit of work, but hey it all adds to the "rustic" look and charm of Italy. Both couples really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. My sister-in-laws room was on the 1st floor and had a huge balcony, although her views were the entrance of the restaurant... More

My husband and I were planning a trip to Italy. I saw an episode of Rick Steves on the Amalfi Coast and he stayed at the Lorelei. He explained it was basic, but not without it's charms. But when I saw him dining with the beautiful view of the Gulf of Naples in the background, I wanted to do the... More

We stayed in Sorrento on a B&B basis and ate at the restuarant in the Hotel Lorelei et Londres in Sorrento one evening. The staff were unfriendly and within two hours of leaving the restaurant (I had a chicken dish) I suffered from sickness and diarrhoea. I spent two days only able to drink water and regretting my decision to... More

we lucked into a room with the view of the Med. Simply spectular! Every day we would sit for a while on the balcony and drink in the view. And the hotel is located and easy stroll from the Circumvesuviana train and the center of town. Staff seems friendly and some speak english. However this hotel is in great need... More

The view is just amazing but the hotel needs lot of work. We had a room with beautiful view but it gets very cold at night and the staff would not start the heater, and were not ready to give us enough blankets. The beds are not good at all and be careful if you have a back problem. Staff... More

We stayed here for a week and loved it. However, we probably stayed in the best room in the hotel, room 1A on the top floor. It had recently been redecorated and was enormous. Our view from the balcony was fantastic, overlooking the marina( see pics taken from the balcony). Only problem was that you did have to duck down... More

Our stay started with my daughter slipping and falling on the floor of the bathroom; no bath mat or even an extra towel to place on the floor had been provided. The shower stall was made of rusting steel and the shower head didn't work properly. The tile floor was chipped and dirty. There is no air conditioning and no... More
