Reception was nice, and spoke good English, very helpful. No wifi in rooms, in breakfast room only. Room was quite run down, and the bathroom was not very appealing. The hotel is right in the main area of town, just beside the square and thus there is a fair bit of traffic noise at night, be aware. More

This small family run hotel is a gem in the centre of Pompeii. Close enough to the scavi to arrive on foot, but also in town, so close to restaurants, and the basilica. My wife and I spent two nights at Hotel Amleto in early March, 2012. It's a terrific place with a lovely room, friendly and extremely helpful staff, great breakfast and easy walking distance to the Pompeii ruins. Old world feeling with modern conveniences. Several great restaurants nearby. More
