Good location, good buffet breakfast, helpful staff. Rooms are ok but vary, some are in better condition and have trendier decor than others. The showers need a bit of attention - worth forcing the door closed to avoid the perilous pool of water. If you want to see Pompeii/Herculaneum/Vesuvius, it is far more convenient and pleasant than staying in Naples.... More

We had 3 nights in Pompeii. The hotel forum was in an excellent location literally opposite the entrance to the ruins, shops, restaurants all around and for a family with two young children there was even a funfair opposite as well as easy secure parking. Nice family room with balcony overlooking the garden area filled with lemon trees. Clean and... More

Lovely hotel, pretty much opposite the ruins. Very high class building, good value for money. Easy to find, and public car park across the street - get your ticket stamped at the hotel, and it's free. Our room was nice, and there were plenty of complimentary goodies (shampoos etc). The breakfast was good, and there is a lovely terrace full... More

The courtyard beckons you into a lemon filled patio with outdoor seating and an herb garden. Our rooms were spacious and each had a balcony. The larger room (a quad) was spacious enough for two adults and two children. It had both a shower and a good sized tub. The other room (a single) was also ample. It had a... More

Whilst the exterior of the hotel and its internal public spaces are of a high quality there are a number of things which are not. The advertised parking is not on site but in a parking lot on the other side of the road the cost of which is covered by the hotel. The interior decorative state of our room... More

This little jewel was our favorite in all of Italy. My 11-year-old daughter and I were backpacking in Italy. This hotel was a very short walk from the train station and the staff was just lovely and helpful. Our room was really nice, especially the bathroom. There were also all kinds of things to eat in the lobby. We loved... More

Nice, cozy hotel a short walk from Pompei Santuario station and right across from one of the entrances to Ancient Pompei. The woman at reception was very nice and helpful. The complimentary afternoon snacks of olives, peanuts, corn nuts, bread sticks, panini, salami and ham sandwich skewers, orange slices, strawberries, etc. was a godsend after a long day of traveling... The hotel is perfectly sited for visiting Pompeii and also an excellent base for visiting other parts of the Bay of Naples. The town of Pompeii is a pleasant place to stay and this is probably its best hotel. You can stroll the streets in the evening with the locals (most of the tourists disappear after the ruins close), enjoy... More

Entering Pompeii by car is unsettling: the narrow streets, piled with garbage and flanked by flaking and decrepit buildings, bode ill. Threading our way into Via Roma, we initially missed the Hotel Forum entirely, then tracked back and pulled into one of the two driveways where we were charmed by the flowering lemon and a veritable encyclopedia of citrus trees... The Hotel Forum was just what was needed-safe, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and right next to the Porta Nocera gate, so if you are tired after walking in the Pompeii ruins, you needn't go far. The breakfast was very nice, the lady who worked down there was sweet. I had a decent lunch there one day. Hot water, friendly desk staff,... More
