This was a first trip to Italy for two couples. Sister Christina was gracious and helpful before and during our stay. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. A beautiful outdoor area was an enjoyable place to relax and have a glass of wine. The location for touring is so convenient. Sister Christina invited us to join her for a... More

Have stayed here three times no and every time it has been great. Sr Christina is really welcoming and is a mine of information about Rome. The rooms are basic but so clean you could eat off the floor! The convent is in a safe quiet area of Rome (though there is some traffic noise) and you can easily walk... More

Our first trip to Rome, a family of 3, and our four night stay at the convent couldn't have been better. Sister Christina is a more than gracious host, helping us with directions and always happy to provide answers to our many questions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a bathroom included. As we were traveling in winter we... More

It was my first trip to Europe, alone at 57. The thought was daunting but things fell into place and fly to Rome, I did. But... to backtrack a bit, first there were my communications through e-mail with Sister Christina of the Villa Rosa Convent, not to be confused with the Villa Rosa Hotel. I opted for a convent stay... More

This is a central place to stay in, close to Circo Messimo metro station, and walking distance from the Coloseo and Palatine hill. Sister Christina and her colleagues are a helpful lot, though the discussions at breakfast get a bit religious. This is often frequented by Irish and British over 60s couples who have come to a pilgrimage to the... More

I echo many of the other compliments (but not complaints) about Villa Rosa. I stayed there with my teenage son in September. It was a perfect location for us. We were in Rome for only 2 1/2 days. It is minutes walk from the Forum, Circo Massimo subway stop (only 3 from Termini), Colosseum, Palatine hill and a hop-on-hop-off bus... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2012 in a nice, clean triple room with private bath on the 3rd floor (they do have an elevator). The only downside was no A/C in the hottest summer on record -- but a fan was provided for free and we quickly acclimated. The breakfast does consist of only rolls but this... More

Had a wonderful stay at Villa Convento. We stayed there for 3 nights. We had a balcony room that over looked Ursiline .It was a great location and the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The free parking was a plus!

Just home from a great trip to ROME. We seen most of the famous sights that ROME has to offer. Our accomodation was the Villa Rosa Convent. What a wonderful experience it for us as a family. The children loved it (11yrs & 9yrs). Sr.Christina is just amazing. From first contact when booking she gives you vital & extremely easy-to-follow... More
