As with so much of what we saw in Rome, La Maison exceeded our expectations. We spent 4 nights here in April 2012 - our first visit to Rome. Naturally, we wanted to see as many of the major sites as possible in the time and the superb location meant that we could walk to the Vatican, Colosseum, Capitoline Hill,... More

The staff at this B&B were truly exceptional. I had some personal issues to deal with that they went out of their way to accomodate. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms new and clean. The breakfast is ample. I've been told by the staff that they are upgrading the internet system immediately because visitors have had a problem using... More

This place is in a super location, and Fabrizio is a gracious and helpful host. My wife and I stayed 8 nights at the Maison and for our needs it was ideal. The location is very convenient – take a short walk across either of the 2 Tiber bridges that are within a block, and you are at Castel San... More

I have been to Rome once before and loved my stay - this time, I was keen to base myself in the western part of the historic centre, where the roads are cobblestone, and pedestrian. It was difficult to find anywhere that was both well-regarded, lovely and affordable in this location, so I was pleased to be able to secure... More

This small B&B does have only three rooms and to stay there was like living in a stately home in Rome. We were very satisfied with the location. From the B&B we could walk through cosy streets to almost everywhere. The room was huge and with periodic furniture. The bathroom was extremely nice decorated and the service was friendly. The... It was our second time in Rome (first time was in Piazza Spagna) but we wanted to try something more away from massive turism... This is in the heart of rome, just few blocks from Piazza Navona but away enough to enjoy the walking on little streets, the bars and restaurants off the mess.. It is the best location we... More

Booking our anniversary trip last minute, there were limited choices within our budget during our stay in Rome. We found La Maison dell'Orologio on tripadvisor, and were pleasantly surprised that this inn that had such wonderful reviews, still had a room available for our weekend visit. The inn was exactly what we hoped for! Although it is a little tricky... More

We stayed 4 nights at La Maison Dell Orologio. Our Rome Cab took us directly there from the airport. Fabrizio was waiting for us and check-in was easy. There are three rooms and we had Rm. #1. It is a large room nicely decorated and somewhat spare. The bathroom looked attractive and modern. The free wi-fi in the room worked... More

We really felt that our stay here was truly special. The small, quaint style of the B&B really makes you feel that you are living in your very own Roman apartment. This B&B is small but perfect. We were greeted by the owner Fabrizio, who gave us a wealth of local information and some handy restaurant recommendations. Our room was... More

What a terrific place to stay in Rome! Just 5 minutes from Piazza Navona, 5 minutes from Castel Sant' Angelo, 2 minutes from taxi and bus service. The location on a relatively quiet street with nice restaurants, cute shops and a wonderful wine bar couldn't be more perfect. The Maison is clean, modern and beautifully decorated with antiques. Michele and... More
